‘One of the best weekends of my life’
I was pretty rattled when the boys rolled me out of bed at 6am on the annual lads trip to hit the bush. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Seriously one of the best experiences to date. Recommend to anyone. So many variations on what to do (hiking, fishing, hunting, rafting, bush tucker, camping tips) and the guides were amazing. We did the 3 day adventure. Vin (the owner) even organised a game of cricket for us. Get around it!

‘Epic adventure down the Hurunui River’
A fantastic trip down the Hurunui river for a social club event.
The guides were very professional and provided many laughs along the river.
It’s was great to have Hunter the mascot dog along on our trip! We loved him jumping from raft to raft trying to get first position down the rapids.
The support crew were stream line and efficient picking up vehicles and providing a fantastic spread for our lunch.
Would highly recommend southern white water rafting to others.

‘Epic work trip’
We did the grade 3 rafting as a work social club trip. What an ace day out!
The staff and the team were relaxed and let us have a heap of fun, mixing up the rafting with various experiences along the river.
Would highly recommend these guys, #1 water experience in NZ in my opinion.

‘Rafting down the Hurunui river’
Had an awesome day out, was a big gathering of us on a social club outing. Best day with the Southern White Water crew, great knowledge of rafting and all round good buggers. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would happily spend another day with them. They looked after us as a big group including an amazing spread for lunch as we were all hungry after the rafting. Perfect day from start to finish, thanks guys.
‘Great Experience’
Went on a work trip with Southern White Water this weekend, had a great day out on the river. Really well suited for all ages – from 9 to adults!
Felt very safe and like we were in good hands! The guys had great knowledge of the river and were full of interesting knowledge about the bits we were passing.
Can’t wait to go back – will buy my Mum a trip for her Christmas present!
‘Great day out’
There was a party of 5 of us and we all enjoyed it very much . The weather was great the guides were excellent. Felt a bit nervous about going but at no stage did I feel scared on the experience .
The food was also good at the end except for sand-flys trying to bet us too it !!

‘3 Day Adventure’
I was very fortunate to partake in a 3 Day Rafting experience with a possibility to hunt and fish. Very professionally run organization which found us drifting down untouched rivers where very few have had the chance to venture. Meals were well above bushman quality tucker which kept us fuelled for the deer stalking. The crew were full of banter and laughs made fantastic hosts. It all kicked off from the way we marinated our steaks using boom sticks and the enjoyment didn’t stop 😉
